Cushion Fabric Selection Criteria for Sofas & Couches
User-friendly guidance for coordinating accent cushions based on your preferred color direction and fabric availability.
| Important note: The main sofa upholstery fabric and the decorative cushion fabrics are intentionally coordinated, but they are not guaranteed to be identical. Cushion covers are selected from available fabrics of the same quality level and in a tone direction that complements your chosen sofa fabric. |
How Cushion Fabrics Are Selected
- Main upholstery first. Your selected sofa or couch fabric remains the primary fabric for the piece. Decorative cushions are then curated to complement that main upholstery rather than duplicate it exactly.
- Not identical, but coordinated. Because cushion fabrics depend on current fabric availability, dye lots, and usable stock, the cushions may not be made in the exact same fabric as the base upholstery. They will, however, be chosen to remain visually harmonious and of comparable quality.
- Neutral preference option. If you prefer a calm neutral styling direction, you may leave a comment requesting tones such as beige, off-white, warm ivory, sand, greige, or soft gray. We will coordinate the cushions accordingly within the available fabric options.
- Accent color option. If you would like the sofa to include a subtle pop of color, you may specify one or two preferred accent colors in your comment box, such as sage green, mustard, terracotta, dusty rose, soft pink, burgundy, olive, or other tones that suit your interior.
- If no comment is added. If no color direction is specified by the client, Mazuna Home will curate the cushion selection using the closest complementary hues available, based on the sofa fabric selected and the overall visual balance of the piece.
- Same quality standard. Although cushion fabrics may vary in weave, pattern, or shade from the main upholstery, they will be selected from suitable upholstery-grade or decor-grade fabrics that match the intended look and quality standard of the final sofa presentation.

Client Acknowledgment
| By proceeding with the order, the client acknowledges that decorative cushion fabrics are selected according to availability and design harmony, and may therefore differ from the main upholstery fabric in exact weave, pattern, or tone. Mazuna Home will nevertheless coordinate the final cushion selection according to the client’s stated preference for neutrals or one to two accent colors, while maintaining a cohesive overall aesthetic and an appropriate quality standard. |
