Use this page on product pages and finish-selection screens to set clear expectations about handcrafted wood finishes.

1) Handcrafted Wood Tone & Grain Variations

• Mazuna Home finishes are handcrafted and hand-applied. Natural variations in tone are expected.
• The final delivered finish may vary by approximately 10–20% from the selected tone due to artisanal application, drying, and natural wood behavior.
• Wood grain is inherently unique especially when solid wood is used—so each piece will display a distinct pattern and character.

2) Cross‑Wood Finish Selection & Finish Style Options

• Wood tones can be selected across different wood types (e.g., applying a tone shown on oak to a piece made in beech).
• Because different wood species absorb stains differently, cross‑wood selections have a higher chance of visible variation compared to selecting a tone within the same wood type.
• We will always aim to mimic the selected tone as closely as possible, while preserving the natural characteristics of the chosen wood.

Finish style options:
• Plain finish: a cleaner, more uniform appearance.
• Rustic finish: intentional patina/aging effects that enhance texture and character.
