Fabric Tone Disclaimer

Fabric swatches are intended as selection guides rather than absolute guarantees of the final production shade. Because textiles may vary slightly between production batches, dye lots, weave texture, pile direction, and lighting conditions, customers should expect the final upholstered tone to appear approximately 10% to 20% lighter, deeper, warmer, cooler, or otherwise slightly different from the swatch or photographed reference.

Genuine Leather Disclaimer

Genuine leather is a natural material and may show slight variation in tone, depth of color, grain character, and surface imprint from one hide to another or from one production batch to another. Depending on the leather selected, the final result may appear slightly lighter, darker, more faded, richer in tone, or more or less pronounced in its natural markings and texture than the sample or photographed reference. These differences are normal characteristics of genuine leather and should not be treated as defects.

Wood Tone Disclaimer Within the Same Wood Type

Even when the selected finish is applied to the same wood type used in the reference swatch, a degree of natural variation should still be expected. Real wood is a living natural material with grain movement, density differences, porosity variation, mineral streaking, and changing stain absorption from one section to another. As a result, the final tone may vary slightly from the sample while still remaining true to the intended finish family.

Cross-Species Wood-Tone Selection Disclaimer

Customers may request a tone inspired by a swatch shown on a different wood type from the wood or veneer used in the purchased piece. Mazuna Home will always try to mimic the requested tone as closely as possible; however, a more noticeable variation should be expected because each species and veneer absorbs stain, patina, paint, and finishing layers differently. The final tone may resemble the requested inspiration but should not be treated as an exact one-to-one reproduction when the base material differs.

Glass and Mirror Tint Disclaimer

Glass and mirror options such as clear, smoky, black-tinted, silver-toned, or champagne-toned selections may appear slightly different from photographs, screen previews, or sample references. Variations are usually more subtle than fabric or wood, but tone depth, reflectivity, translucency, and the way the color reads in daylight versus indoor lighting may still differ slightly in the finished piece.

Photography, Screen, and Lighting Disclaimer

Website images, phone screens, monitors, tablet displays, studio photography, and room lighting can all shift how color, undertone, sheen, and texture are perceived. For that reason, sample selections should always be understood as close visual guides rather than exact digital guarantees of the final handcrafted result.

Cushion Fabric Selection Disclaimer

When selecting a main upholstery fabric for sofas or couches, accent and back cushions will be coordinated to complement the primary upholstery choice but will not usually be made in the exact same fabric. Cushion fabrics are selected based on availability, while maintaining the same overall quality level and visual harmony with the chosen upholstery. Clients may leave a comment requesting either one or two accent colours, or a neutral direction such as beige and off-white, or beige and gray hues. If no comment is provided, Mazuna Home will curate the most suitable complementary cushion combination from available fabrics. By proceeding with the order, the customer acknowledges that cushion fabrics may vary slightly in exact material or tone while remaining aligned with the selected colour-hue preference and overall aesthetic.

Natural-Character Disclaimer

The above variations are not intended to be defects. They are part of the individuality, depth, and character of handcrafted furniture made from natural materials, and they contribute to the unique identity of each Mazuna Home piece.
